If you're going abroad in Europe, Australia, USA, Americas, Asia and want to take your electronic devices with you, then you're going to need a travel adapter. This will convert the UK standard 3 pin plug into a European 2 pin plug. The voltage is the same so no voltage converter is neccessary. YOU MIGHT NOT GET WHAT YOU EXPECT.
In the 'Amazon search' I put adapter for Britain and Australia. In the past I've purchased a packet of three or four this way and they were fine. This time I could only find a set of two at a reasonable price and I bought these. It turns out they are different and only one is suitable for Australia and the other looks European?. The main picture does not show the difference but it's possible to just make out that one might be different from the other pictures if you click on them. So there we are I feel caught a bit but what can you do?

Not the best adapters I've bought though
Read the small print...this pack contains 1 x US and 1 x EU adapters. Looking at the title and the picture I thought it was 2 US adapters and was surprised when there was one of each. These are REALLY stiff to get a UK plug into, and the pins are a bit close together for US sockets, so you have to lever the pins apart as you put it into the socket. Apart from that, they do actually work. Not the best adapters I've bought though.

A must have....
Great adapters, traveled for 4 years with me throughout Southeast Asia. A must have (apart from Malaysia where they have the standard three-pin plus just like England).

Great product, no flaws
I brought this product for a trip to Bali and Singapore. This was a great solution as I wasn't sure which connection I would need.they were in constant use for two weeks and didn't fail.

Good adaptors.
I mistakenly thought these were for the USA only. But there are 2 adaptors to a pack. One for Europe and one USA.Will keep as they are always handy.

Perfect for the job.Used them in Thailand where we just spent a wonderful month! Cheaper than many of the others on the market,but robust and durable.
