Climate change, on a local scale!
This is a nicely made but cheap fan that so far is working just fine. It is one of several we've bought over the years, but only one has ever had a real problem, and that was nothing to do with the electrics. We've never had one that stopped working! We use these fans occasionally at home for caged pets when the heat is inescapable by moving them since the fan can be clipped nearby, and in home office areas when the days are getting insufferably hot and humid, just to get the air moving. The best use we put them to is when we take holidays in the tropics, when they are extremely welcome clipped to a nightstand. They run at whatever local voltage they are given, although in 110v countries they're about half as enthusiastic. Some countries (e.g. Barbados) have dual voltages available (often in the same room!) and you can get different results according to which socket you choose, others, such as Tahiti, are close enough at 220v to work fairly enthusiastically (just as well, over there!), if you;re holidaying in the USA then perhaps just get one locally and bring it home! Overhead room fans in these places are fine for keeping the temperatures moderate, but to get ourselves off to sleep in a brutal climate these are often the only realistic solution in these days of hotels being a little more miserly with their air conditioning! The only one that "failed" still works as a fan, it was the clip that broke. Some nightstands have thicker tops than others, although that wasn't our problem. We attached it fairly regularly to a tabletop that was a smidgin too thick, and the strain on the plastic proved a little too much for it after a while. Cheaper plastics seem to get quite brittle over time, so to extend the life of these things the trick is never to put them under undue strain. For what this does it is definitely worth the £8 or so that they typically cost.

It's a good fan for extended use
It's a good fan for extended use. It won't cool you down instantly with a strong blast of air but if you sit in front of it while working then it will keep you cool. Build quality is alright, the plastic clip doesn't feel particularly solid but it does the job fine. Also cheap to run as it only require 16 watts.

It's a Breeze
A small Fan (as it says) and not overly-powerful. It's just ideal for a slight-to-moderate breeze to keep you comfortable when working at your Desk/Computer. When I ordered it, I viewed it (price-wise) as a possible throw-away item if it failed my expectations, but was hugely delighted to find the CLIP was very large and heavy-duty. It's jaws open to 4cm and clamp down easily and very strongly on any basic desk or shelf unit.If you "live" in a Computer "Den" at home, with no cross-ventilation or air-conditioning, then this comes with a high recommendation.

very compact
Bought to go in my son's room. Fits right next to his bed and not too powerful. Haven't had a chance to see if it works well as the weather had changed by the time we got it

Survive
Good help at any hot day. The item is perfeclty matched with the pictures and the specifications.Could be stronger and the clip a bit smaller. The delivery and packing were correct!

Nice clip, but noisy
It's a nice little fan, good size, and the clip is really great actually. But the problem is when you turn it on it sounds like the fans are hitting the sides (tap tap tap tap!) and there doesn't really seem to be a way to shake it off. Oh well, we're using it anyways.
