I have tried higher doses and been groggy the whole of the next day 1 mg is perfect to just tip the balance to seep and not be the walking dead the next day

effective dosage
Somehow this melatonin seems more potent / effective than what I usually get from the store. I only need a small amount of melatonin to fall asleep after waking up in the middle of the night sometimes. This is a great option for me. I swallow this pill without any water, because I'm used to it. The pill is very small, so it should be easy for most.

Im a 3-5am night owl and just can’t be a functioning person that way. So I use it to help me go to sleep by at least 1-2am.3mg is actually a lot for me, but I have awful anxiety so the grogginess the next day was actually a calming experience for me! But I take 1/4 and it works wonders for me.
